by PokerWriter | Posted in Casino Gambling   On 8th August

During June and July, RakeTheRake players who refer friends to the rakeback specialist’s site will rank in a new leaderboard. And the ten players who notch up the most referrals by 31 July 2010 will win some fantastic prizes: a mini jukebox replica (worth 795 US Dollars), an LG champagne flute home cinema system (worth 720 US Dollars), an Apple iPad (worth 625 US Dollars) and a really cool pocket cinema (worth 360 US Dollars) are all up for grabs. In addition the 6 runners up will receive some high quality RakeTheRake merchandise.

All players need to do is login to their RakeTheRake account and ask their friends to sign up for rakeback by filling in their email addresses. It’s entirely free to join in with the games and ensures cashback is received from every game played, whether they win or lose. Alternately players can select special banners and text links to add to their own websites to promote the benefits of rakeback to players. The current referral time is from 1st June right through to 31st July 2010. There will be a cash alternative to the main 4 prizes on offer.

For any RakeTheRake players who refer their friends, they will earn a regular monthly commission of 4% of their players net rake and for all sub referrals 1%. Commission payments are not taken from your players’ rakeback.

In every poker game a commission, or rake, of around 5% of the pot is taken by the online poker room and it’s non refundable unless you have a rakeback program in place.

RakeTheRake works with all the top online poker rooms to bring up to 100% rakeback to players. Rakeback, which is sometimes described quite nicely as poker cashback assures online poker players of receiving the maximum cash from their game and it doesn’t matter if they win or lose.

With over 600,000 US Dollars in freerolls and rake races on offer every month, RakeTheRake provides online poker players with the very best return on their game.

You can also sign up to Full Tilt Rakeback and Everest Poker (no climbing of mountains necessary).

Poker is My Friend 0

by PokerWriter | Posted in Casino Gambling   On 23rd June

A vast amount of people try to steer well clear away from any type of gambling because they hear bad things about the game, but I do think that it is misinterpretated and gambling can be good.

I personally started playing when I was about 19 years old and to be honest I lost quite a bit of my money when I first started, I believe it was because I was a bit naïve and thought I was the best player. But I decided to do something about it so I read books both online and offline, I was getting better and better as weeks went by.

My speciality was poker, I was basically the king of bluff and no one could defeat me, I regularly went to my casino and was earning a bit of extra pocket cash. It was not until I got my first internet connection that I got obsessed with something called Rakeback, but it was a lot different online and a whole new ball game, things were a lot harder because you could not see who you were playing against and the whole purpose of poker is being able to tell when someone is bluffing. I did lose slightly abit of money to begin with, but then I started to master the game.

There was a much bigger player base online and the jackpots that I was winning were huge amounts and I started to make a good fortune. Within a few years I had bought a luxury house, a small yacht and a couple of nice cars, I still play online poker twice a week and am raking in a good amount, although I do sometimes have my bad days I would never change my life for a second and for every that moans about gambling, they should first try it to see what an exciting game it can be.

For great games of full tilt poker and littlewoods poker enjoy winning great jackpots and getting rakeback
