Full Tilt Poker has already entered into high-profile sponsorship deals with sports such as mixed martial arts and rugby. But Full Tilt is determined to advertise their brand to even more sports fans that play poker since they have entered the world of Formula 1 racing.
The deal was finally sealed when Full Tilt Poker approached Virgin Racing about possible sponsorship. With the completion of the deal, this will ensure that the poker site will have their logo on Virgin Racing’s VR-01 car, all of the driver’s uniforms and the teams apparel.
It is hoped that Full Tilt will draw in lots of additional F1 fans who will be looking to take advantage of the great 27% rakeback deals currently being offered at Full Tilt. On top of this, the huge internet poker site is just pleased to be partnered with an excellent F1 racing team.
Holdem poker pro Chris “Jesus” Ferguson echoed these sentiments when he said, “With two leaders in their respective fields coming together, this is sure to be a groundbreaking partnership on the global canvas, providing yet another level of excitement for all fans.” He finished by saying, “We are very excited to be associated with such a stellar brand as Virgin Racing, and we look forward to launching this partnership in Spain.”
Ferguson spoke of Spain soley because that was the first place when the online poker room had displayed their logo. FT’s logo will be plastered on the uniforms of drivers Lucas di Grassi and Tomi Glock at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya. After the Barcelona stop, Virgin Racing will be in Monaco, Monte Carlo and Istanbul, Turkey.
It will definitely be interesting to see if Full Tilt’s Formula 1 advertisements have racing fans everywhere rushing to learn how to play poker online. If not they can always still enjoy their favourite Internet Poker games, including Betfair Poker.
